It is important to disinfect the roller with 70% isopropyl alcohol 15 minutes before and after using then, leave it to air-dry. The needles will puncture your skin so you have to get rid of the dirt, germs, and bacteria as much as possible. note that your face and hands must be cleaned thoroughly too.
2. While waiting for the roller to air-dry, remove any make-up and wash your face with a cleanser. If you’re quite intolerant to pain, apply a numbing cream such as. Once it takes effect, wipe the numbing cream off and clean your body by washing it with plain water or dabbing a clean towel or cloth.
   

    

3. Start rolling with your derma roller. On the affected area of the skin, roll horizontally in one direction 6 to 8 times. After this, lift the roller before rolling vertically in one direction 6 to 8 times. Never drag the roller on your skin as this may cause serious wounding. If you need to cover your entire face, it is recommended to divide the rolling into five sections of the face — left forehead, right forehead, left cheek, right cheek, and chin. 4. Immediately apply the serum after rolling. We recommend using Vitamin C serum with hyaluronic acid as it speeds up collagen production and wound healing. After applying the serum, continue on with your skincare routine such as applying treatments and moisturizer.
   

    

5. Protect your skin by applying sunscreen and using some cover like an umbrella or a hat. After the procedure, the skin will be very sensitive to the sun and may cause inflammation and hyper-pigmentation.

How long it takes to see results?

Stretch mark removal using derma roller is not an overnight thing. At an average, it will need three to five treatments to see visible results. For major improvements, it may take approximately one year of continued use. Expect that skin progress will not be the same for everybody as each individual is unique.
